Routines of My Family

My family consists of father, mother, and 3 children. I was the first child, I have a younger sister and younger brother. My sister's name is Victoria E.S. Now she attends primary school grade 6 at Gloria Pacar Elementary School. My younger brother is Yohanes N.S. He also attends Gloria Pacar Elementary School grade 5. Victoria have a hobbies. She likes to draw clothes, read a comics or novel. While Yohanes's hobbies are playing football, playing badminton, watch a television especially cartoon and cycling. Yohanes have a good friends named Harmanata, Richard, Kenneth, and Valerie. Victoria also have a good friends named Jocelyn, Cindy, and Vania. As brothers and sister, sometimes we are also not free from disputes ranging from the trivial to the big problem. But as brothers and sister, we also often help each other. What ever the problems faced by one of us, others always tried to help, so the problem is quickly resolved. We have various experience that we spent together until now. 

Every day, our family is busy with our respective routines. My father and my mother work, while the 3 of us go to school and tutoring. And to assist us in learning difficulties at school, the 3 of us follow private lessons. There are different kinds of lessons that we follow, they are: tutoring lessons, tutoring English, Mandarin language lessons, Computer lesson, dancing lessons, etc. By following a variety of tutoring we understand the material taught in school better. Our family are busy from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday our family always go to church to give thanks for all the good fortunes that God has given to our family. Because Sunday is also the day for us as a family to live our routine for a moment and give us time just to pray to the Lord. 

Sometimes we also feel bored with the routine of school and the lessons which we take. So if there are school holidays, we spend our school holidays by having fun activities. The various activities we do are playing, go to mall together, watch a film at cinema, take a picture, bbm, etc. Sometimes we also play computer, such as Facebook, Twitter, browsing many picture or just download song from the internet. Or sometimes we go along with the family, like going to Jakarta, Bogor, Bali, Bandung, Magelang, Singapore, and many more. By going together we have closer relationship. And we are very happy if we could spend the holiday together with our family. 

To me, family is very important along with other family members I can share my joy and sorrow that I experienced. The events are fun and sometimes annoying. The more we often get together than the relationship between us become very close. My family is very happy family, although every day we are busy with our own affairs, but we still do not forget to spend time together, although not for too long.

So if I was asked to reveal the words about my family, then all I can say is I am very happy to have family like mine now and for me everything that I can do up to now is through the support of my family. So believe it or not family are our closest friends who will always be beside use in any kinds of situation joyfull or sad. And the family is not going to leave us the moment we are having difficultly, because family will help us to find away out of difficulties we are facing.

So to all my friends, you all should feel proud of your family. If you have a dispute with one of your family member, finish the dispute quickly so that your relationship with your other family members are not tense. And if you have a problem, do not feel ashame to ask for assistance to other members of your family as well. Because if you help each other than any kinds of problems at hand will soon be resolved immediately. And of course your family will be happy and relationship between your family members closer.

Otzi The Iceman

On 19 September 1991, German climbers name Erika Simon and her husband Helmut, made an extraordinary discovery. They had found the head and shoulders of a human body, while walking along the Similaun Glacier. Dr Henn took one look and realized the body was an ancient preserved person. Professor Spindier examined, the axe and the body, and confirmed that the "Iceman" was at least 4000 years old. Austrian researches gave his name Otzi. His climbing it includeda cooper axe, rope, a leather pouch, an unstrong bow and arrows. His backpack contained food supplies. Otzi trips was carefully planned. Otzi worn teeth show he ate a lot of coarse grain. People live by huntinng and simple farming. Otzi was chieftain.

Hurricane Strikes

Hurricane Irene hit Southeastern Florida on Friday night and it caused damage and destruction everywhere. Now, so many people had no electricity because of that hurricane. And the hurricane caused server flooding. Some of the worst flooding was in Miami. Thousands of crops were damage of destroyed to South Florida. Irene was the worst strom of hurricane seoson of this area. 

WHY DO SOME ANIMALS DIE OUT ?

In the past 200 years, humans have caused the extinction process speed up. The reasons are: First, people destroy animals homes as they spread over the land. Second, humans overhunt the animals. Third, humans pollute the air, water, and soil that the animals need. Finally humans bring new species of animals into certain enviorments, the animals already live there, become threatended and face extinction.

First time My Brother Lost

Last holiday my family and I went to Singapore. We went by plane.  At 4 o’clock we woke up and take  a bath.  At  5 o’clock we went to Juanda airport and arrived at 6 o’clock. At the airport we checked in very quickly because the plane was waiting for  us. Finally we got into. It took two hours to go to Singapore by plane. At 8 o’clock the plane landed at Changi airport.  After the plane landed I went to the toilet. At the toilet I met my friend Fenny. After that we went to the hotel by taxi. We stayed at Park Royal Hotel. At the hotel we checked in and put the travel bags into the room.  After we checked in we went to Orchad to change the money because my parents brought the rupiah not dollar. And at the Orchard my sister, my brother and I bought some shirt and shorts. After that we were hungry and went to the mall to eat.  At the mall my mother bought some cosmetics and shirt. We were at the mall until evening.  After shopping we went to Vivo City. At the Vivo City we went to Sentosa Island to see Song of the Sea by train. After that we went back to the hotel and took a rest. On the second day we got up at 8 o’clock because we were very tired. After waking up we had breakfast. At 9 o’clock we finished our  breakfast. After that we went to Universal Studio. We couldn’t  go into Universal Studio because the tickets were  sold out. We were very sad because we couldn’t  go in. Finally we went to Sentosa Island again. At Sentosa we went around, but we were still disappointed about what happended at Universal Studio. At there  we bought chocolate, took  a picture, and etc. We went to Sentosa Island until evening and we had lunch at the Sentosa too. At night we had dinner at mall. After that we went back to the hotel and took a rest. On the third day we must  get up early because we wanted to check up at the Gleneagle Hospital. I was very tired because I walked everyday. After we  checked up I went back to the hotel. And I went to Jurong Park by MRT.  It took one and a half hour to get there and we arrived at Mall before  I went to Jurong Park we had lunch first and went shopping. After that I went to Jurong Park by bus. I saw many birds like parrots, flamingoes, eagles, penguinds and other.  At Jurong Park we took a picture. And watched a bird show. First we watched a parrots show and then second  we watched eagle show. And I was many penguins swimming. We went to Jurong Park until evening. And we went mall again by bus. At mall my sister and I saw nice shoes and I wanted them.  And my mother bought the shoes for me  and my sister. Suddenly my brother was lost and it was  the first  time he was lost. We were confused to find my brother. 10 minutes passed. Suddenly my brother come to me  and he cried, because he was very scared. We got back to the hotel  because  we were  very tired. I went back to my room and took a rest and take a bath. At 8 o’clock we went out to find some food and I ate at mall. After I eating we went around the mall for shopping again.  My father  wanted  to buy some ties and shirts. After shopping we went back to the hotel and took a rest. The fourth day we packed  because at 12 o’clock we must checked out. After breakfast  we checked out  and went to my father’s friend’s apartement. After that we went to Bugis to bought some souvenirs. After we buying some souvenirs  we went  to  Takashimaya to  had lunch and buy some medicine for my aunt. Finally we went back to the apartement  to packed  again and take a bath. At 6 o’clock  we went to Changi airport. At Changi I bought many kinds of chocolate and candy. They are very yummy. After that we went to the waiting room and we went back to Surabaya. The holiday is over but this holiday I felt very happy although it was tiring.
